To Be Ana.
I am very supportive of the pro-Ana community, but, I don't agree that you can choose to have a disorder. I believe that you can starve yourself to lose weight and have the habits of a disordered person without being actually disordered.
1. Don't tell people about your weightloss
This will only make people suspicious. Don't tell your best friend, your mom, or anyone. Even if you're excited that you lost a singly pound or 20 pounds, don't tell anyone
2. Don't immediately restrict.
If you immediately start eating less you'll be hungry much easier that you would be if you just took off 100 calories. When you're hungry you'll be triggered to binge, pay attention to your body. Depending on what you usually eat, try beginning with 1400 calories.
3. Keep track of everything
Get Myfitnesspal, get a tiny notebook. Get anything that you can use to keep track of every calorie you take in and how many calories you burn. This isn't even an ana thing really, this is just a normal thing to do.
Extra.
Starving in Suburbia isn't real, many people ith eating disorders and on pro ana websites are actually kind or they will try and kick you off the website if you are there "looking for tips".
